BEACHES:
The beaches on Molokai range from rocky shoreline and cliffs
to white sand beaches (some of the longest in Hawaii). Activities
range from diving and fishing to surfing, windsurfing and sunbathing.
Some of the beaches to check out include:
Halawa Beach Park
Located at the end of hwy. 450 on the Eastern
Coast of Molokai. this is a great surfing beach with tradewind
swells.
Kepuhi Bay
White-sand beach is a local surfing
beach and is located at the Kaluakoi Resort.
Papohaku Beach
White-sand beach over 3 miles long
making it one of the longest white-sand beaches in Hawaii.Great
shorebreak for experienced body-boarders and body-surfers.
Others beware. Located beyond the Kaluakoi Resort in West
Molokai.
Waialua Beach
Great beach for snorkling, swimming
and sunbathing. Also good for playing around in the surf
for beginners. Located at Waialua Village in East Molokai.
